Otedama Bean Bags
Otedama involves small, hand-sewn bags filled with grains, beans, or sand. Players toss and catch the bags while performing various tricks or patterns, similar to Western-style juggling or beanbag games. It was particularly popular among children, especially girls, during the Edo period and continued to be a beloved traditional game in Japan.
